Pig&Pepper-「豬和胡椒」,這名字一直以來是每位客人都覺得好奇的。
「豬」代表著圓滿、幸福,和隨遇而安的自在。在人類的歷史中,不同種族的文化裡,不論是供養天神或在重要慶典,甚至團聚之時。「豬」在各族裔始終佔有著非常重要的地位。世界上許多族裔的文化中,在盛典時「烤豬」就是最重要的主角,也是最豐盛的待客之禮。
「胡椒」是香料之王,2000年前起源於羅馬,是人類歷史上最早使用在烹飪中的香料,曾經被人類當作成貨幣使用,可見其珍貴的地位,也是最為廣泛使用的香料。「胡椒」可以單獨的使用,也可以和多種香料調和著使用,在各國的料理中有著各式各樣的應用方式,變化無窮。
Pig&pepper,把這兩種代表性的食材和香料結合成為店名,沒有華麗的故事包裝。藉由最單純的食材原料表現出無限的創新美食,呈現出各種文化的結合,和無限的變化。我們用最盛情和珍惜的心情呈獻給每位貴賓在此相聚的圓滿、歡悅和自在,如在家的溫暖氛圍。

Located in a quiet alley, two minute walk from Da’An MRT station (exit #6), in the hustle and bustle of Taipei City’s “East District”, Pig & Pepper is a modern bistro serving New American Cuisine. Pig & Pepper is a bright spot in Taipei’s restaurant offerinf a contemporary & upscale take on American comfort food and inventive cross cultural cuisine. Chef Emilie, having been raised in Los Angeles, creatively transaltes the “melting pot” culture of LA into her own masterpieces. Her dishes reflect traditional American favorites, Southern classics, amongst West European, South American, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian style. Pig & Pepper offers a colorful variety of brunch favorites with an imaginative twist.   4. Hi, can you please print your address in Chinese characters, English & Hanyu Pinyin? I know the general area, but I’d like to be able to pinpoint it easily after I leave Daan Park MRT Exit 6. For starters, which way do I turn after Exit 6?

      No. 15, Lane 295, Section 1, Fuxing S Rd, Da’an District

      The exit is Daan Station, not Daan Park. When you exit #6, it brings you right outside of Park Hotel, walk straight to the next street (lane 295) and turn right. Its about a 3 minute walk from the mrt exit
